WITH TELESCOPIC SLIDING ARMS

This variation system is based on a male - female coupling, where the male (or extension) is fixed to the crawlers, while the female (or sliding seat) is in the frame.

A distinctive feature of this type of Undercarriage is the presence of two sliding seats with different cavity sizes on each side. In the same way, the sliding arms fixed to the crawlers must have different sizes, in order to match precisely the sliding seats.

The track extension movement is made possible by two oleodynamic cylinders, one on each side; these are fixed to both the casing and the frame, and they are protected from shocks by sheet metal guards.

When comparing an undercarriage with telescopic arms to other types of undercarriages, it's easy to notice its reduced longitudinal footprint, due to the interpenetration of the sliding seats. On the other hand, the undercarriages with telescopic sliding arms present greater clearances compared to the H-frame ones.

This undercarriage is suitable for coupling with machines discharching a continuous strain on the undercarriage (such as drills, cutters or vibrating machines.

WITH TELESCOPIC SLIDING ARMS

The system used for the enlargement is based on a male - female coupling, where the male (or extension) is fixed to the boxes, while the female (or sliding seat) is obtained in the frame.

Characteristic of this type of Undercarriage is to have two sliding seats on each side. Which differ in the size of the cavities. In the same way, the sliding extensions fixed to the boxes must be of different dimensions such as to mate perfectly with the sliding seats.

TYPES OF UNDERCARRIAGES

WITH PARALLEL SLIDING ARMS

Undercarriages with parallel sliding arms are more suitable for coupling with machines such as some types of cranes, which are subject to dynamic force of the wind.

H-FRAME UNDERCARRIAGE

Compared to sub-assemblies with parallel or telescopic extensions, the H-frame undercarriages are perfectly symmetrical.

PANTOGRAPH UNDERCARRIAGE

Undercarriages with a pantograph track widening system are very often used when coupled with cranes or lifting systems.
